Burglars have ransacked a home in Kew overnight, including a room where the elderly home-owner lay asleep.
The incident took place on Cheltenham Way in Kew on Saturday night.
The thieves reportedly: “went through every draw in every room – including the bedroom – whilst the elderly occupant was asleep.”
A family friend warned: “Make sure your doors and windows are properly secured.”
It is believed that CCTV captured images of two thieves and the vehicle used to attend the break-in.
Police have been informed and an investigation is now underway.
