During the last week some person has stolen two of our Willow Wands from the Borders of Rotten Row. These were purchased from Southport Flower Show and are not available locally. These cost Friends fo Rotten Row quite a lot of money, money that is donated by you to help keep Rotten Row flourishing and for all to enjoy. These shrubs were “wired in” so they would be required to be dug out rather than just pulled out. If anyone knows of anyone who has recently “acquired” two of these please inform the police.
We cannot afford losses like these and we hope the person who stole these is quite proud of themselves by not enabling our visitors to enjoy looking at them. We, Friends of Rotten Row, are quite put out by these thefts, not for the first time! It makes us wonder is it worth it, all the hard work, planning, planting etc?
