The Future Of Bootle Town Hall – Statement

Cllr Marion Atkinson, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills, said: “Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the positive response we have received from residents regarding the Bootle Town Framework which was widely reported in the local media.

However, I would like to clarify that there are no plans to turn Bootle Town Hall into apartments. The Town Hall will remain as a Town Hall under a Labour leadership and there are no proposals to change its functionality. The framework does propose that a number of feasibility options are explored for the use of the buildings that make up the wider Bootle Town Hall Complex. The complex has a number of largely disused buildings and it is these buildings we are looking to develop.

“This is a very exciting time for Sefton and I look forward to sharing more good news with you in the future.”
