The Bold Arms on Botanic Road has undergone a magnificent refurbishment which has created up to ten new jobs.
OTSnews was today invited to sample the very first meal served at the new Bold Arms…. Steak & Ale Pie, a pub classic which was perfect, 10/10.
The new and improved menu, features dishes such as Halloumi & Chips, Pastrami Sandwich and American craft burgers.
Pub landlord Sinclair said: “It was big refurbishment and it has completely transformed the place.
“This is the first refurbished in 26 years so it has been a long time coming and I am really looking forward to a busy Christmas.”
The Bold Arms is part of the John Barras pub company, and still has its original stables from when it was owned by William ‘Duke’ Sutton – who founded Southport – in 1776.
