Saturday 5 Oct 2013 8.00pm

Starring: Jeff Innocent, Philberto, Jay Hampson, Damion Larkin (MC)

More TV comedians at Southport comedy club!

Jeff Innocent headlines with a life story that resembles a film plot! There is probably no other comedian in the world whose act can be so far removed from his appearance. Looking very much like the son of a real-life East End villain (because he is) he could have chosen a career in the family firm but instead chose a MA in History & Philosophy and then stand up comedy. Jeff is pictured above.

Jeff is now very much part of the comedy gentry and widely acknowledged as one of the UK’s top headline acts achieving legendary status amongst his fellow comedians for staying at the absolute top of the game for over 15 years. He has stormed comedy clubs all over the world including Singapore, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Dubai, Holland, Taiwan and Japan.

Jeff’s many television credits as actor, stand-up and presenter include; Edinburgh Nights (BBC1), Gas (Ch4), I Love 1999 (BBC 1), Later with Jools Holland (BBC 2), The National Lottery Show (BBC1), The Stand Up Show (BBC 1), Take the Mike (ITV), Time Gentlemen Please (Sky), Real Eastenders (Ch4) and Brief Histories (BBC 3).

One thing’s for sure this is a consummate performer, hotly in demand and sure to have you in absolute stitches

“It should be made law that every British Citizen must go and see Jeff Innocent. He’s that funny” Evening Standard

Philberto has been enjoying the English comedy circuit for the past two years, during which time he has established himself as a headline act. He is the mad comic genius from English comedian Milo McCabe (currently appearing in BBC3’s ‘Live at The Electric’), pretending to be Philberto, Portugal’s No 1 reality TV star. Philberto has a vibrant energy and hard hitting style that makes twenty minutes disappear in the blink of an eye.

“A must see” Mirror

Jay Hampson

With youthful looks that betray a clever and sometimes rude mind, Jay Hampson is a multi-award winning act. Pin sharp timing and a laid back delivery compliment astutely observed material, drawing on topics as varied as his personal battle with social class, to the sexual inadequacy of endangered species. Fluent use of language coupled with cutting guttural quips, Jay puts a well thought out spin on a variety of different topics.

“Dry, clever, droll and funny” The Liverpool Echo

Your MC for all the above is Southport born Damion Larkin, one of Britain’s most promising comedy talents, renowned for being a spontaneous and lovable host.
