Following an appearance at a youth court within South Sefton Magistrates Court in Bootle, a 17-year-old male from Formby was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on June 4th, 2015.
The 17-year-old has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
UPDATE (FRIDAY, 15 MAY):
Detectives investigating shots fired at a house in Formby on Thursday morning have arrested a 17-year-old male from Formby on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
He has been taken to a police station where he will be questioned.

Merseyside Police is investigating a firearms incident in Formby today (Thursday, 14 May).
At about 11.20am a report was received that a shot had been heard on Gardner Road.
Officers attended and found damage to the front of a property consistent with a firearm discharge.
No one was injured during the incident.
