Tarleton Beer Festival starts Friday June 10th

Friday June 10th sees the start of the 6th Tarleton Beer Festival held at the Tarleton Bowling Club on Sutton Lane in Tarleton, organised by The Rotary Club of Southport Links.

Robin Carter told OTSNews.co.uk “We have a superb line up of 30 different beers this year from 13 breweries, including local brewers The Southport Brewery and the Parker Brewery as well as longer established breweries such as Moorhouses and the Hawkshead Brewery.

“We also have ciders, lager and wine available and soft drinks for the drivers.

“A full programme of entertainment is arranged with the 909’s performing their popular brand of rock and pop playing on Friday evening, and on Saturday we have Big Screen Football at 8.00pm with England playing their first match in the Euros against Russia, followed by dancing to the sounds of The Suttons of Swing.

“Not only does it promise to be a great, fun weekend, but all profits will go to Rotary charities to be distributed amongst many local and International good causes.

“Entrance is only £6 for the whole weekend, and includes a programme and souvenir glass and then beers are from just £2.50 per pint.”
