Mighty Radio are proud to announce that we have been awarded a community licence by Ofcom to provide an FM station for Southport and its surrounding areas.

Its great news for Southport since the sad demise of Dune FM, Southport has not had a true voice or broadcast identity.

The directors of Mighty Radio would firstly like to thank everyone for their hard work since the inception of Mighty Radio, not just in presenting but production. Technology, research and keeping the dream alive, more importantly we would like to thank everyone who tuned and continues to tune in and supports us.

We have had tremendous support from local business and since the award became public the interest has gone through the roof, being on FM allows us to reach the people in the heart of Southport at home, in their cars, and in local businesses.

We will continue to broadcast online at www.mightysouthport.co.uk so that people that have left Southport can use our media as a communication tool to reach their loved ones and friends.
