Southport homeless man forced to use hotel heat.

Rough sleepers in Southport are being forced to do all they can to keep warm.

One man, who has been known to take to the freezing streets of Southport each night was left to rest outside the back of the Scarisbrick Hotel this morning after he was found cozying up to a hot air vent.

Early morning cleaning staff at The Scarisbrick hotel are asked to move along anyone who is loitering on the property but they took pity on this individual and allowed him a few extra hours of warmth.

The warning signs, in times of need it appears, don’t seem to apply!
