Starbucks member of staff has her bike stolen in broad daylight from Lord Street Southport

Bike owner Louise Bigley who works at Starbucks on Lord Street yesterday locked her bike up outside the shop before starting her afternoon shift.

It is believed that her bike was stolen yesterday (Tuesday 4 February) between 3.15pm and 6pm from the bike rack outside.

Louise said: “I locked my bike up at the nearest bike rack to the shop, I noticed it had gone towards the end of my shift. The bike has a lot of sentimental value to me”.

CCTV is being studied in the area from various points.

The landlord from the George pub in Southport has put up a reward for the return of the bike as it has real sentimental value.
