Spanish cops charge Southport man over Ben Nesbitt killing

Police in Spain have arrested a wanted man from Southport who they believe has connections to the death of fellow sandgrounder Ben Nesbitt.

La Garda arrested the Southport man, identified as Wai Ming Lam, and according to Spanish media have subsequently charged him with homicide last month.

Images and videos of the arrest shared by Spanish Police have now been issued.

Videos filmed by police show the male, named by detectives as Lam, dressed casually in tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt as he was arrested and subsequently led by armed police to a waiting police car.

Southport man Ben Nesbitt, 21, was found bleeding to death in the street during the early hours of October 1 in Rojales on the Costa Blanca.
