Car Gets Fried at The Fryery Chip Shop Southport
The emergency services were called to The Fryery Chip Shop on Kew Road on Tuesday morning at approximately 3.30am (18th November 2014).
The driver reported to the ambulance crew attending the scene that he had been Racing a friend doing about 60/70mph then hit the roundabout and it sent him flying into the air and landing in the Fryery chip shop”
Luckily the driver escaped serious injuries .
Emergency services were called to Water Lane Crossens at 17.30 Thursday 20th November.
A male driver lost control of his Vauxhall Corsa whilst in his driveway on Water Lane and missed the traffic and smashed into the house opposite.
The wall and part of the porch were destroyed along with the vehicle in the drive next door.
Mr Keith Lowe, the owner/occupier of the damaged house said,
“I thought a bomb had gone off, I was greeted with man head to toe in white paint. I’m just glad the guy got out without injuries”.
No one else was injured in the crash.
The emergency services were called to Ash Street, Southport, on Friday afternoon (21st November 2014) following reports of a RTC
A Mercedes and a BMW collided on Ash Street between Ash Street Bridge and Scarisbrick New Road.
One person was treated at the scene from the BMW before being transferred to Southport & Formby DGH for treatment.
The BMW driver was questioned at the scene by police officers.
