Rosebank Care Home (Southport) Residents Meet Their TV Heroes – The BBC Hairy Bikers!

It doesn’t get much better than this! Rosebank Care Home Residents Thomas Anderson (41)  and Joseph Sanders (49) meet their huge TV chef heroes ‘The Hairy Bikers’ at the Crosby Road Street Party on Sunday 12th June. Both Thomas and Joseph are MASSIVE fans of the biking pair so they couldn’t believe their luck when they got the chance to meet with them both. Thomas and Joseph live at Rosebank Care Home, Leyland Road, Southport and enjoy a variety of days out. This however was something very different and a day neither will forget.

The huge Royal Street Party event was organised by Jonathan Cunningham owner of Rosebank Care Home. This was the largest street party with over 650+ in attendance and raising vital funds for the local Lifeboat trust. Jonathan was approached by the BBC who found the street party on social media. They heard that Crosby Road is regarded as the most Royal Road in the UK!

Thomas said ‘I love the Hairy Bikers and got to see them so close on their bikes!’ Joseph said ‘It was a great day and meeting the pair was great fun. I just hope they support Everton!!’
