Southport’s MakeItWorkShop Volunteering Week

Volunteers Week. The Big Celebration of local Volunteering 1-12 June 2016

A big celebration of all volunteers is going to be held all over the UK from 1st June to12th June this year.   Hundreds of events will be taking place across the country to mark Volunteers Week.  This annual campaign which was established in 1984, recognises the contribution volunteers make to our community every day.

MakeItWorkShop will be holding a number of Open Days, Demonstrations and Blogs which will all be available on our YouTube channel, our Website and Facebook page.

We are a Community Interest Company based in the heart of Southport.  Run by volunteers to share their expertise with others.  We offer experience in our departments to help others in our community.

We would like to also invite you to our Craft Demonstrations. These will be as follows:-

Friday 3rd June Craft Demonstration 1pm to 3pm, MakeItWorkshop CIC. Unit 12, Cambridge Walks, Cambridge Arcade, Southport.
