Southport’s Kevin Ward and Jake Barton are on the Road to GLORY

Phil Barton spoke to OTS News ahead of Saturday nights (March 11) Road to GLORY fight event.

Phil said: “Today I will travel with my two lads Jake Barton my son and Kev Ward to Newark where they will compete on the Road to Glory, promoted by Dean Sugden. I want to wish them luck , because we all need a little luck.”

“But I wish them well as the strive to achieve in the fights of their lives, let your confidence and talent show on Saturday lads , do this and winners all the way.”

“A special thanks to my coaches Andy Brocklebank and Lee Coulton with a sprinkling of help from Sunil Chopra in working as a TEAM in all our efforts to get these two great Champions to were they are now and for further achievements in the future. A Massive thanks to all whom have sponsored both lads and all the lads at the gym who have assisted in getting both Jake and Kevin ready, blood sweat and tears shared by all.”
