Last week’s third heat of Southport’s Got Talent at the award winning Victoria was ahuge success and was enjoyed by one and all. The venue was packed with afabulous audience who were entertained by some great dancers, singers andcomedy- there is always variety in SGT shows

Judging  were west end star Richard ‘Dickie’ Wood; Toucan Events director Neil Hepworth and newcomer to our team Louisa Austin who was a natural and thoroughly enjoyed the evening

Last night contestants included vocalist and bar manager Marc Paul, Guitarist andsinger George Windsor and new and upcoming female duo ‘Request an audience’- Beckah Alker and Nicole Paterson. Also starring were last weeks ‘Wild Card’ winner dance teacher Andy Hooper; singer and model Andrew McKay and dancer and all round talent Zain Salim.

Guest artist included Dickie Woods, Rosie O’Hare, Dave Walker and Christopher Hesketh

The show ended with the judges struggling to separate 3 acts- the Victoria’s SueKirkbride explains “It was a fantastic night ending with two wild card winners Andrew McKay and George Windsor-two really fantastic singers who will be coming back but the show’s eventual outright winner was 27 year old dance teacher Zain Salim from Southport’s Central Dance Studios.  I have never seen an act like it! I really can’t wait for next week!  It’s getting bigger and better every week, so all come along I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!

Next week heat will include singing sensation Amy Housewine, SGT winner 2012 James Loughlin who unfortunately couldn’t make this week as advertised and a number of acts which the SGT team is very very exited about! and the heat is themed Battle of the Girls featuring  some of the best female singers in the region

Show starts at7.30 pm with five star food served all evening.
