A specialist ‘indoor’ cigar sampling lounge is set to open in Southport, becoming one of the first of its kind in the North West.
The cigar lounge is the brainchild of the hugely popular Dram Gift Shop on Botanic Road in Churchtown and comes complete with specialist ventilation and furnishings for people to enjoy sampling cigars while under cover.
Named Churchills, the sampling lounge is said to be the first of its kind in Sefton.
The Dram gift shop owners said: “We have been open 2 years now and after the last 6 months of planning and hard work, I am very pleased to announce that The Dram has started work on the very first Cigar Sampling lounge in Sefton!
“It will hold up to 8-10 people and should be ready by the end of the month. In true Dram style we like to name everything so it will be called “Churchills”, you will be able to pop in and sample one of our fine Cuban or New world cigars whilst enjoying a single malt whisky or two!
