Banl holiday trains were disrupted between southport and Formby tonight after a trespasser was spotted on the Trainline near Ainsdale
a spokesperson for Merseysail said “Due to reports of a trespasser on the track in the Ainsdale area – Services are currently disrupted on our Southport line.
”Services have now resumed” they added but passengers can still expect considerable delays for the next few hours
