Southport Spar Supermarket Roe Lane Now Open

The new store, on the site of the former Duerdens car showroom, is now officially open – Thursday, September 29.

On Wednesday evening guests were invited to sample the local fresh produce on offer and take a look around the Roe Lane store.

Spar Roe Lane will be open from 7am to 11pm seven days a week. As well offering fresh produce, choices for people’s evening meal, and all the weekly necessities, there will takeaway coffee, along with food to go and Spar’s award winning own brand range. Other services offered by the store include National Lottery, Collect Plus, Pay Point and Shell Petrol.

The store will be supplied by distributer James Hall & Co Ltd. based in the North West of England.

Spar is the world’s largest international food retail chain, with nearly 16,000 stores in 34 countries.
