Southport sign Andrai Jones from Gateshead

Southport boss Paul Carden has signed Andrai Jones this afternoon, Tuesday 7 June 2015.

Carden has agreed a two year deal for the 23-year-old Gateshead player.

Andrai Jones arrives at the Merseyrail Community Stadium after impressing Paul Carden in pre-season and in his performances last season. Andrai has yet to score a goal in his five-year career to date, lets hope he can for Southport.

Carden said:

“I am delighted to have signed Andrai, he is a real prospect. He can play in a number of positions, I see him in my midfield.

“He has great energy and real ability. He is an athlete and I am sure will develop quickly at Southport.”
