A group of Scarecrows have taken up residence in Wesley Street , including Lord Wesley, Willy Wonky, Fairy Nuff and the Vicar of Wesley, have a look in this quirky street, and meet up with these fun guys, the street is having a Scarecrow Festival until 31st October.
Marg Barton from Barton Gifts on the street came up with the idea after seeing Scarecrow Festivals in country villages, and wanted to try this fun idea in Southport, and as Wesley Street is known as” The Village in the Town”, it seemed just right.
Wesley Street Traders really enjoy having events like this ,on Friday 30th October, there will be Stalls, games,and treats and the chance to win a Wesley Street Hamper.
