Southport Rugby Club to host ‘Ready 4 Rugby’ tournament

Ready 4 Rugby is the new and exciting non-contact/touch game enabling two teams of up to 10 players to engage in training and match activity.

We have had over 85 players and three companies express interest so far in the upcoming leagues. The teams will be selected from players from Senior 1XV squad, 2/3 XV squads, Vets, Ladies, U18 Colts, U17 Colts, and U16 and the sponsor’s representatives.

The leagues will commence from Friday 28th August from 18:30. Spectators are welcome and the bar and kitchen will be open whilst adhering to COVID19 social distancing rules and risk assessments.

Below are the dates of each round with a proposed junior league to take place on Saturday 19th & 26th September.
