Southport Rugby Club Beer Garden to open this weekend

Following the announcement by the Government that pubs and bars in England can reopen from the 4th July Southport Rugby Club have prepared to reopen with largest beer garden in the area!

The beer garden will open at Midday, on the 4th and 5th July and every Friday and Saturday thereafter.  There may be variations to this schedule with opening times and dates being revised according to demand.

On Saturday afternoon the club will be welcoming the return of the riders taking part in the centurion challenge for the The Ellis Expedition.

The riders will be leaving SRFC at 7am and cycling 100KM to raise money for Southport and Ormskirk Hospital Charity.

Stay safe, stay healthy

Hygiene and safety precautions will be in place for staff and customers, and continually revised and updated according to the guidance.

The club have worked with industry experts to develop best protocols and standards and will have sanitising stations at key points throughout the clubhouse.

There will distancing of tables within the clubhouse and increased outdoor seating and tables available. Table service will be provided for all food and drink. The club will operate a cashless operation with cards only being accepted at this time where possible.

The club are encouraging people to bring picnic blankets to make use of the pitch.

Test and Trace

All visitors to the club will be recorded for a period of 21 days
