The emergency services were called to Southport Road (A570) at around 11am this morning to reports of a head on collision, Wednesday 16th October 2019.
A car collided with a van causing it to flip stop onto it’s roof, the driver of the van had to be cut free. The occupants of the car were both treated at the scene before being transferred to hospital.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place whilst police investigations take place.
