Southport pro dart player spared Jail

Lee Hayes, 41, from Southport  appeared at Preston Crown Court to be sentenced after he was charged with perverting the course of justice last year.

Hayes was sentenced to 18months, which was suspended for two years. Undertake eighty hours community work, twenty hours rehabilitation.

Lee ‘The Scorpion’ Hayes as he’s know on the dart circuit spoke to our reporter after the sentencing, he said:  “Thank you to everyone for your good wishes, I was handed a suspended sentence and community order many thanks to you all, it means a lot to me!”
