Southport Police make arrests this week

A male wanted on warrant was arrested after presenting himself at the Enquiry Office at Southport Police Station on Wednesday 18th July.

A 28 year old man, wanted by Southport Local Policing Team officers on a recall to prison was arrested by police in Aintree on Thursday 19th July. He was arrested on suspicion of shop theft, suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and suspicion of using threatening and abusive language. He has been remanded in custody awaiting his recall to prison while investigations continue into this arrest.
