A spokesperson for Southport police has issued a statement to say that they have covered a wide area.
“Southport Local Policing Team officers covered a wide area in one of the vans yesterday evening.
“Pictured are some of the locations we patrolled: Sandbrook Way in Ainsdale, Kings Gardens, Preston New Road, the Botanic Gardens and Hesketh Park.
“Back out on foot tomorrow.”
