Southport poet pens emotional tribute to care staff after wife fights Coronavirus

A Southport amateur poet has gone viral after penning an emotional poem for all keybworkers and carers during the Coronavirus outbreak

Southport man Raymond Hill penned the emotional and hard hitting poem to all key workers after his wife, a carer, fell ill after catching Coronavirus from looking after vulnerable adults in the town.

His son Liam said “my dad wrote a poem for her and other carers out there and it made me emotional reading this so I wanted to try and get his poem around for people to read because I was inspired by it and I think it my emotionally help carers to keep doing what there doing and show people that we are proud of what they do.”
