Southport Musical Fireworks Competition 2018
The Musical Fireworks event takes place in Southport this Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September. This event is one of the biggest events that takes place in Southport, with people travelling into the town from Lancashire and elsewhere in Merseyside. The event is expected to attract up to 10,000 people on each night.
Planning for the event has started already, with the placing of signs advising of road closures on the evenings in question along from Lord Street to the Esplanade roundabout with Marine Drive and on Marine Drive Itself up to Weld Road. The closures will be in place from 6:00PM to midnight.
