Southport mum starts online petition to stop Islam being taught in Catholic schools
A Southport Mum Rebecca Leather, has started an online petition after her child brought home the Our lady of Lourdes school newsletter.
She said… ” In the newsletter from the school this week, we were told all children through out the school would be studying a unit of work on Islam, I find this to be disrespectful to the Catholics who attend the school and feel strongly about their religion.
