11th January 2015

John Pugh is urging voters to Vote for Bob in the General Election 2015. Bob is described by wildlife charities as a small red squirrel but when John met him at the House of Commons he did not exactly seem small (see picture).

The Vote for Bob campaign is designed to make the care of our wildlife and open places a crucial part of government. According to John wildlife and environment issues are big issues fir the Southport public.

“Whether its badgers and the hunting ban or the ivory trade and rain forests my postbag tells me nature matters to local people, 2 says the MP. “People recoil fro cruelty and destruction in nature whether its take bile from captive bears in China or puppy farming in the UK. Southport has a world class nature reserve with red squirrels to the south and bird sanctuaries to the north. We are a town immersed in nature ! Thats why we should all be voting for Bob. Schools, organisations and individual can get involved in the Vote for Bob campaign via the following website.”  https://www.voteforbob.co.uk
