David Lloyd has handed over the role of president of Southport Meols Rotary Club to David Hartley.

The Presidential change-over took place at the Royal Clifton Hotel, on The Promenade, Southport, on Tuesday evening.

Retiring president David Lloyd presented the incoming president a Paul Harris Fellow Award before handing him the Club Charter.

An excellent evening of fellowship was enjoyed by all who attended.

David Hartley is Post Master at Bispham Road Post Office. He is married to Yvonne and they have five children.

David has been a member of Rotary for over 16 years and is actively progressing Rotary endeavour to the benefit of the local community in general.

David is playing a very active role in the forthcoming Rotary Costal Walk which is taking place on 31st August.
