Southport: Maxi is still Missing!

A Southport family is appealing for people to help find a dog called Maxi who went missing last week.

The much-loved pet shot off while on Weld Road in the centre of Birkdale Village Thursday, November 26 2015.

Maxi is a black and tan Lakeland Terrier – blond, grey, black and light ginger in colour.

He is about 14 inches high, and has a short tail, folded over his back.

He crossed the railway line and got trapped in the gates some time around midday.

From the there he ran off and disappeared.

When he ran off he was wearing a red collar.

His owners believe he may be somewhere in the Weld Road area of Birkdale, or may have run across to the nearby beach or sand dunes.

A reward is being offered for Maxi’s safe return.
