CALL OUT
Southport Lifeboat was paged to a report of 3 people north of Southport pier in possible difficulty, Saturday 13 February.
With the tide on the way in the quads were dispatched to locate the people whilst the lifeboat was on its way to the beach.
The quad bikes along with Southport Coastguard searched the coastline but all members of the public were safe. It is believed that the people walked off the beach prior to our arrival and both rescue teams were stood down.
