Lord Ronnie Fearn had his usual luck in getting the first proper weather of the summer for the Norwood Ward Strawberry Tea held at his Norwood ward home this Saturday.
Besides Sun and Strawberries, Ronnie’s ‘do’ was also graced by Olympic torch bearer, Hilda Blomley, whose incredible fitness may have something to do with having delivered leaflets FOCUS for Ronnie over many years.

The event was also graced by a fly-by from the Red Arrows, not actually ordered as part of the festivities but directed at the RAF benevelant home just up the road.

The event came hot on the heels of John Pugh MP’s Annual Garden Party, held this year at the Grosvenor Road home of David and Susan Jackson.

Despite being rained on during lunch the sun also came out for this event in the afternoon.
