King George V College is celebrating a number of its current students gaining offers to study at Oxbridge. Achieving offers to study at the country’s top two universities is a fiercely competitive process and potential KGV applicants have received practical help with all aspects of their applications, including interview preparation and practice. Adele Wills, Principal, commented, “ We are delighted with the amazing achievement of our students. We have been giving special assistance to potential candidates and we are very pleased to have a number of students gaining offers of places at Oxbridge. Our students have worked incredibly hard and show just what can be achieved by KGV A-level students; they really are a delight to work with”
Notable successful students include former Sacred Heart High student Halina Beduhn (Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at Cambridge), former Christ the King student Sam Tarbuck (Chemical Engineering at Cambridge), former Deyes high pupil Nastassia McAdam (Law at Cambridge and former Birkdale High student, Ashley Ken (Law and French at Oxford). KGV continues to enjoy excellent links with Oxbridge Universities, with over 50 ex-KGV students continuing their studies at these world class universities in the past five years.
