KGV College Music Technology students launched their 4th charity CD in February this year in aid of Queenscourt Hospice.
The students write, record and mix all their own tracks, perform their work at College concerts and then produce and sell a CD with all proceeds going to the chosen charity. The students donated over £519 to Queenscourt Hospice at the end of September and Course Leader Tom Forster commented “I am very proud of the students who get involved and treat this like any other professional album release.
Each year the students try to create a unique and interesting album and this year was no exception.
The students are currently writing songs for next year’s album which is due to be released in February 2014.”
