Southport golfer delighted with Tony Jacklin putting lesson prize
A Southport golfing fan won himself a coveted putting lesson from a sporting legend after entering a competition at the recent Open championships.
Jonathan Crickmore had his skills putt up for the test when he was shows the skills of the green by golfing legend Tony Jacklin.
Jonathan bagged the prize as part of a competition run by whisky distillery, Glenmorangie. He got to spend 30 minutes with the former Open winner before he and his friend and Steve Campbell of S&A golf club had a lesson on the Glenmorangie green.
Jonathan said: “I was blown away when I found out that I’d won the prize.”
