Southport giant bauble Christmas decorations damaged and dumped

Students from Southport College recently made a large number of giant bauble Christmas decorations which are now displayed in the town centre.

The baubles were put up along Lord Street, Chapel Street and Nevill Street last week.

Dozens have been left dumped on open wasteland in Kingsway, Southport, and a number  of bauble’s were found damaged after being  thrown  over on to B&M car park early yesterday morning.

A local resident said: ”This is just typical of Sefton Council ! God knows how these poor students must think after reading this, pretty dam awful I’d think never knowing if their work was damaged or not!”
