Southport FC will return to competitive fixtures on Saturday, October 3rd.
The Sandgrounder’s first competitive fixture will be in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round.
Southport will play either 40 or 42 league fixtures, depending on how the clubs are split regionally into North and South divisions.
The season start date was confirmed after a meeting of the National League Board.
The final league match of the season will be 29th May 2021. The end of season playoffs are scheduled to take place in June 2021.
It is still unconfirmed whether supporters will be permitted entry into the opening fixtures.
At the beginning of July, the government confirmed it hoped that audiences could return to stadia for public events by October.
