Southport FC looking to arrange coach travel to as many of Southport’s away matches as possible

Once again next season, The ‘Crazy Gang’ trust in Yellow’s will be looking to arrange coach travel to as many of Southport’s away matches as possible.

The Trust is very keen to hear from members and supporters on their views and ideas for improving the service in providing transport to away matches.

Last season, although there was a tremendous response for the FA Cup match at Derby County and the Trust coach was nearly full for several other matches, there were also too many occasions when either the coach had to be cancelled or it ran at a significant loss.

To get your views it has been decided that coach travel will be the main item on the agenda for the next Trust members’ meeting. This will take place on Tuesday June 23 at 7.30pm in the Grandstand Bar. All members are very welcome to attend.

The Trust is particularly interested in the views of members who go to one or more away matches every season whether on the Trust’s coach or by other means.

If you can’t attend but have ideas on the subject, please send them to Martin Robinson at dmjrobinson@btinternet.com.

The Trust aims to run each trip at a break even cost but within that constraint the Trust will listen to and consider all suggestions you have.

Coach travel will be the first item on the agenda so even if you can’t stay for the full meeting please come along and give your views.
