Southport FC Under 9s need your help raising £1000

A junior football side are hoping their fans will dig deep and raise £1000 to send them to Flamingo Land.

The Southport FC U9s are taking on a mammoth 17 mike walk from Goodison Park in Everton to Haig Avenue in Southport in February and want to raise £1000 doing so to send them to a tournament in Flamingo Land.

If all goes well the team will complete the tiresome walk in just over eight hours and make it in time to watch the Southport first team play against Telford.
