Southport drivers fume at cyclist to get in the bin

Furious drivers along Shakespeare Street, Southport could be forgiven for thinking they’re in one of the famous writer’s comedic tragedy’s after finding themselves in a bizarre situation.

Traffic was backed up along the road this morning as a rogue cyclist slowly pulled a heavy bin along the road and up towards Scarisbrick New Road.

An overtaking curious motorist asked what the man was doing, only to be told that he was taking it to the refuse centre on Foul Lane.

A warning has been issued to drivers along the stretch who may find themselves facing huge delays as the slow cyclists travels back and forth along Scarisbrick New Road this morning
