Southport couple victorious at The three Castles golf tournament in Northumberland

Southport couple Ann and Martin Rogers who are both members of Hurlston Hall GC have won the prestigious three Castles tournament in Northumberland.

The competition was held over three days on three different courses Alnwick, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh against 127 couples from all over the country.

Ann and Martin carded 42, 48 and 41 Stapleford points to win the Three Castles tournament competition.

The duo entered the tournament with 4 other couples from Southport. Martin said: “We put our success down to the level of difficulty of thier home course Hurlston and of course some good golf”.
