Southport Community Policing Team Tackle Train Fare Dodgers
Today officers from Southport Community Police Team are working in partnerships with colleagues from British Transport Police (Revenue Protection Team), patrolling the Northern Line to target fare dodgers and travelling criminals, who regularly use the network to commit crime.
The operation is undertaken to provide a High Visibility presence on the trains and provide reassurance to genuine rail users / commuters.
