Beauty & the Beast was a competition run in conjunction with ILFORD PHOTO black and white products, HARMAN PHOTO inkjet papers and HARMAN technology Ltd for all UK photographic students.
Judges were looking for thought provoking images that showed the diversity and contrasts that surround us each day, and that are original, imaginative, contemporary and powerful.
Kieran Rouffignac, a 2nd yr Level 3 Extended Diploma Photography student at Southport College secured a winning entry. In excess of 600 submissions were received from colleges and universities across the UK.
Yvette Wheddon, Curriculum Leader for Photography said “We are extremely proud of his achievement. We encourage all of our students to participate in activity outside of their course and Kieran’s efforts have really paid off for him.”
