Southport Care home group to walk for a world without dementia
A care home group from Southport are hoping the town comes together as part of a memory walk to combat dementia.
The Cedars Care Group who run two care homes in Southport are joined by Big Picture Nursery staff and children to walk from Woodlands Manor to The Richmond Pub on October 10th at 2pm.
Activities Coordinator Liz Seville said: “We have 2 dementia homes in southport who will both be taking part in the walk.”
“We also have the Big picture nursery on scarisbrick new rd who will also have some of their children walk with us.
“We will be walking to the Richmond pub and all money raised will go to the Altzheimers society.”
