Finalist at the Café Life Awards 2016

This week, Britain’s coolest awards announced café manager Susan Yarnell as a sandwich design finalist at this year’s Café Life Awards 2016.

Recognising and celebrating all that is great about Café Life in the UK, the awards aim to recognise excellence and encourage innovation in the important UK café and coffee bar sector.

Judged by panels of professionals from the industry, the awards are intended to inspire by example, by highlighting those involved in the sector who are pioneering and leading the market, whether in the development of new products or the creation of excellence in the High Street.

This year, Head Judge and celebrity chef, Theo Randall, will be helping to judge Yarnell’s ‘Jewel Studded Whipped Feta with Nectarine, Lime and Mint Salsa’ entry at the Grand Final, which will be held on Wednesday 21 September 2016 at Lunch! – the contemporary food to go show.

Yarnell, current manager of Autism Initiatives’ Social Enterprise ‘A Great Little Place’ commented on becoming a finalist: “I am thrilled to make it to the finals of this national competition – it is a great boost for the charity to know our ‘great little places’ are recognised alongside market leaders in our field.”

To enjoy A Great Little Place’s creative menu, visit the Award Winning cafes at:
11c Hoghton Street, Southport. PR9 0TH or 43 London Street, Southport. PR9 ONS
