Christmas wine tasting event organised by The Southport Business Club raises funds for The Community Link Foundation.

The Southport Business Club, a networking group for entrepreneurial business owners organised by professionals from Harbour Business Group, Moore and Smalley, Birchall Blackburn Law and Royal Bank of Scotland, has raised £360 for the Community Link Foundation.

John Waller, managing partner at Harbour Business Group said “Our Christmas event was a huge success, over 70 people attended to celebrate what has been a great year for the networking group, lots of business has been written between attendees and on the actual night we raised an impressive amount for a very worthy local charity”.

“The popular networking event brings together local businesses and entrepreneurs in an informal atmosphere to make connections and create new opportunities as well as raising funds each month for a charity. In 2015 we raised over £4000 and I am sure we can raise even more in 2016”.

The organisers would like to thank Aughton Wines of Formby and Gavin Alexandra also of Formby for their kind donations of prizes.
