Southport boy has his disability trike stolen again

Southport mum is appealing for people’s help after thieves stole her son’s disability trike on his birthday.

The bike was stolen as burglars struck at the home in Marshside, as the family were looking forward to celebrating the boy’s 12th birthday.

The theft took place at some time either last night or this morning.

This is not the first time the trike has been stolen, in October 2014 a guilty feeling culprit returned the bike to a neighbour, not directly to the family.

“I Cannot believe I am having to put up this post on my son’s birthday, but we have just discovered his trike has been stolen from our garden (Marshide, Southport).

“It was well secured and barricaded from sight”.

“A strimmer has also been stolen”.

“Whoever has taken it would have had a struggle to get it out of the garden”.

If anyone has any information about the burglary, please call Southport Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
